The Footprints Shawl was designed by Antonia Cavaliere (@SkipsAGeneration) for our first pattern collection, Handmade: Slow Fashion Inspired by Arizona's Five Cs. Please see below for details.
Antonia's Pattern Inspiration:
"Footprints has a simple triangle shape, with an all-over mock cable pattern. It is inspired by the cattle theme and depicts a field as seen from above, where cows on pasture are walking side by side in straight lines leaving their footprints behind them."
Materials:
US 9 / 5.5 mm circular needle, 24" / 60 cm length
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Sizing/Finished Measurements:
62" / 155 cm wide and 21" / 52.5 cm deep
Yarn Details:
Less Traveled Yarn, DK (DK; 75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon; 245 yds / 224 m per 100 g skein)
Yarn A: Tidal; 3 skeins
Held together with:
Less Traveled Yarn, Kid Mohair (light fingering; 72% Kid Mohair, 28% Silk, 459 yds / 420 m per 50 g skein)
Yarn B: Tidal; 2 skeins
Both yarns are held together throughout the piece.

About the Designer:Antonia Cavaliere (she/her) inherited her crafty genes from her grandmother who taught her to knit and crochet at a young age.
